CCB多倫多華語電台前身是美加華語網絡成員之一，美加華語網絡於1976年成立，始於紐約，之後發展到北美、洛杉磯、西雅圖、波士頓、芝加哥、多倫多及滿地可等地區，及到1988年，在多倫多正式成立電台。 2003年5月改名多倫多中文電台，正式獨立運作，增加本地製作節目，過去二十年為社區貢獻良多，與廣大聽眾一同成長。

2007年9月7日，由葉秀霞女士接手獨資經營並出任總裁及行政總監President & CEO，9月23日並正式命名為多倫多華語電台 Canadian (Ontario) Chinese Broadcast，繼續為社區與廣大聽眾服務。 未來一年，電台製作目標將會以四大方向為主，包括個人養生健康之道，理財智識，興趣培育，以及中國傳統道德思想，透過這四大目標，帶給聽眾們不同的娛樂新聞及資訊節目。

多倫多華語電台 (CCB) 是透過CKFM-FM頻道副波99.9廣播，只要一次性購買特定收音機，即可廿四小時不停收聽廣播，廣播網絡由東面的亞積士市（AJAX）至北面的新市（NEW MARKET）及西面的咸美頓市（HAMILTON），估計現時有超過廿萬聽眾。除透過副波頻道收聽外，更可於電台網站作即時收聽或重溫節目，電台網址為:www.ccbaradio.ca

Canadian (Ont.) Chinese Broadcast CCB, previously was the member of Toronto Chinese Canadian Broadcast Corporation (TCCBC). Established in 1976 in New York City, TVCBC then started its affiliation in Los Angeles, Seattle, Boston, and Montreal. In 1988, its own radio station was established in Toronto and has been serving the community for 20 years. In 2003, it was renamed as Toronto Chinese Radio (TCR) and operated independently with more locally produced programs.

In September 7, 2007, Ms. Piera Yip took over the ownership and became President & CEO, In September 23, 2007 it was renamed as Canadian (Ontario) Chinese Broadcast (CCB) and had continued its mission serving the public faithfully.

In the coming year, CCB will be continuing its role as a responsible broadcasting station in 4 major directions: personal health, financing, interests, and ethics and traditions and providing more different kinds of entertaining and informative programs to the audiences.

Transmitted by subsidiary communications operating channel (SCMO) of CKFM-FM in Toronto, broadcast signals of CCB is received only by a specially designed radio over the air. Once purchased, the radio will incluce no further cost. CCB is the only Chinese radio station that offers 24-h broadcast, serving areas from Hamilton to Ajax, Lakeshore downtown to New Market.
